Your Guide to the Best West Palm Beach Bars
April 5, 2018
Find a new happy hour spot or a place to celebrate the weekend with our guide to beloved West Palm Beach bars.
Some are tried-and-true local favorites and others are newer members of the West Palm Beach community, but all four bars on our list are musts. Discover some of the best bars West Palm Beach has to offer below.
The Alchemist is a gastropub with an inviting speakeasy vibe and fantastic cocktails. Though it has a great wine and craft beer list, The Alchemist specializes in mixology. Some cocktails even require a beaker and smoke!
The cocktail list boasts of original concoctions, classic drinks and four types of mules. We recommend taking a seat at the bar and ordering the Burnt Offering. With whiskey, Angostura bitters, orange bitters, demerara sugar and Cherrywood smoke, it’s a modern spin on an Old Fashioned.
Need a bite to eat? Try the bucket of bacon. Yes, it’s literally a bucket of bacon—and it’s a must-order.
With daily happy hour deals from 4-7 and Sunday brunches that feature bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys, you should swing by The Alchemist any day of the week.
ER Bradley's Saloon
ER Bradley’s Saloon is a West Palm Beach landmark. While the bar has been open since 1984, the venue used to be an early twentieth-century private gambling establishment called The Beach Club.
Nightly live music, a menu that includes a lot of fresh seafood and four bars have replaced The Beach Club’s gambling past. ER Bradley’s is a local favorite with indoor and outdoor seating areas and plenty of TVs. Whether you want to check out a band, catch a sports game or people-watch on the waterfront, ER Bradley’s is the place to be.
Other perks include complimentary valet and happy hour deals on weekdays from 4:30-6:30 PM. Try cocktails like the Caribbean Coconut Mojito and order some truffle fries or crispy calamari to share.
Kapow! Noodle Bar
Kapow! is an Asian fusion restaurant and bar with two locations: one in Boca Raton and a newer location on Clematis Street in West Palm Beach.
While Kapow! has stellar Asian fusion dishes like dim sum, pad thai and gyoza tacos, it’s also a wonderful place to grab a drink. Kapow!’s extensive drink menu includes a lychee martini, Asian beers and five types of gin and tonics. Plus, there’s a totally separate sake menu.
Cozy couches, attentive service and unique décor—we’re loving the tables decorated with anime—make Kapow! a must-visit. It also holds weekly special events. Disco Dim Sum helps you celebrate Tuesdays with drink specials and a DJ, Wine Down Wednesdays feature half-priced bottles of wine and sake and Sunday brunch offers bottomless mimosas and a DJ in the courtyard.
Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen
According to the Copper Blues website, they’re the destination for rock stars, foodies, beer geeks and cocktail connoisseurs—and we agree. Copper Blues is known for live music every night of the week. You can grab a beer and hang out by the stage; if you need a break from the music, hang out in the outdoor beer garden. It’s a welcoming spot with lush plants and string lights.
In addition to nightly music, Copper Blues offers 60+ beers on tap, tap cocktails like Moscow Mules and classic pub food. Enjoy happy hour deals daily from 3-7 PM and get 25% off food and 30% off liquor on Wednesdays.
Catch live music at night or bring your friends (and your dog!) to Copper Blues for a Sunday Funday afternoon. They also host events like Potter Brunch, which had Butter Beer and a Harry Potter costume contest.
